The Vision

Rooted in the storied landscape of the Brandywine Valley, the Inn at Montchanin Village is a collection of eleven lovingly restored 19th-century buildings set among six acres of manicured gardens. Once home to workers of the nearby DuPont powder mills, this remarkable village has been carefully preserved and transformed into one of the region's most distinctive boutique destinations.

From cobblestone paths and crackling fireplaces to period furnishings and original art, every corner of the property tells a story. Montchanin invites guests to slow down and inhabit a place that feels genuinely lived in.

Under the stewardship of Vierra Hospitality, every guest room and suite is being thoughtfully renovated, the fitness center is receiving a full refresh, and a new restaurant concept is on the horizon. The history remains. The warmth remains. And the best is still to come.
